1. Follows the conceptual and clinical scientific developments in essential measurement, evaluation and treatment techniques specific to intensive care physiotherapy, uses the deep and systematic knowledge that reached specific to various intensive care fields in his/her professional and academic studies.
2. Using the theoretical and applied concepts and principles in physiotherapy in intensive care, integrating with knowledge from different disciplines, creates new knowledge, and gain problem-solving and clinical decision-making skills.
3. Plans research, takes part in projects, uses scientific resources and related information systems effectively in the field of physiotherapy in intensive care; evaluates the information, presents and publishes its findings in the form of reports at institutional, national and/or international meetings.
4. Executes the knowledge and skills acquired physiotherapy in intensive care in line with current laws and regulations by observing ethical values and transfers professional skills and responsibilities to teamwork.
5. Communicates effectively in his/her professional and academic studies in oral and written international physiotherapy in intensive care using at least one foreign language in the European language portfolio.
6. Defines learning needs and goals, maintains lifelong learning, contributes to quality improvement, training and promotion programs
7. Contributes to community health and health policies; raises awareness of patients and their relatives, colleagues, other health professionals and society about physiotherapy training in intensive care, preventive and rehabilitative approaches
