1. Approaching the theories and praxis in the field of Education and ICT (Information and Communication Technology) by utilizing scientific and higher order thinking skills.

2. Being able to utilize the basic concepts and principles of Education and ICT on their research at the expert level effectively.

3. Following the contemporary trends in Education and ICT and reflecting them upon their studies.

4. On the basis of contemporary theories, to provide solutions and guidance on the way of diffusion of ICT in Education and their integration into learning and teaching process.

5. To analyze and report on design, develop, and dissemination of e-learning environments on the basis of teaching and learning theories.

6. To evaluate existing applications that are based on theories and models of social, psychological, educational, and cognitive variables, which are related to the impact of technology on human life.

7. Being aware of the ethics of Education and ICT and act accordingly.

8. Integrating and evaluating the theories and models in Education and ICT into the ICT vision, strategic aims and action plans of Turkey with a critical view.

9. To overcome any technical or scientific problem on their own and being in a position to propose the most suitable solution; to have good communication skills to explain the completeness of their solution and clearly state the assumptions that were made.
