D.9. Key Learning Outcomes

1. Obtain advanced level theoretical and applied knowledge by gaining expertise in different areas of Mechanical Engineering.

2. Have knowledge, skills and and competence to develop novel approaches in science and technology.

3. Use the tools of the basic and engineering sciences in the solution of complex engineering problems.

4. Contribute to the science and technology literature by publishing results of their academic work.

5. Carry out a comprehensive research study that results in a new scientific method or leads to a technological product/process, that brings innovation to science/technology, or is an application of a known methodology into a new field.

6. Are able to carry out an advanced level research work in his/her field independently.

7. Take the responsibility and develop new strategical approaches for solving unforeseen complicated problems in engineering.
