D.9. Key Learning Outcomes

1. Have advanced and up-to-date knowledge on health administration based on his/her MSc competences, which s/he can enhance and deepen at the professional level.

2. Comprehend interdisciplinary interaction on health administration, and achieve original outcomes by using his/her advanced knowledge to analyze, synthesize and evaluate new ideas.

3. Have a sound grasp of health promotion models, and development, management and evaluation of health administration programs.

4. Have knowledge on quantitative and qualitative research, data analysis and statistical methods used in health education and promotion research.

5. Utilize new knowledge in health administration area with a systematic approach.

6. Study, design, adapt and implement an original topic of interest as a method to bring innovation into the field, or as a conventional method to be applied into a different field in the health administration area.

7. Identify problems through scientific methods, find original solutions, and develop policy recommendations in a district in the area of health administration by use of his/her advanced knowledge and skills.

8. Have advanced skills in planning, conducting, analyzing and evaluating a research study on health administration.

9. Have essential skills to prepare a report, publish a scientific paper in nationally/internationally recognized peer-reviewed journals, and make a presentation in scientific meetings regarding a study, which s/he conducted in the field.

10. Contribute to the health administration area by conducting an original study, which brings innovation into the field or develop the field.

11. Provide mechanisms to take action for inter-sectoral collaboration on the provision of health services.

12. Work in teams in identifying area-specific problems and solutions with respect to health education and promotion, and perform leadership skills, if needed.

13. Develop new ideas and methods with respect to health education and promotion through upper level cognitive processes such as creative and critical thinking, problem solving and decision making.

14. Assess progress in health administration area in line with the current situation in the country, and acts for the benefit of the society.

15. Have knowledge on ethical principles with respect to all kinds of scientific and professional work in the area of health administration, and act accordingly.
