The purpose of our programme is to educate expert personnel who can develop, administer educational measurement instruments, and interpret the scores that are obtained from those instruments to make regulations in various institutions such as Ministry of National Education, schools, education departments of public and private companies.

To complete the total of 120 ECTS - 60 ECTS course credits, 60 ECTS thesis credits - to have at least 2.50 grade point average at the end of the four semester, to complete and present master's thesis in a given time.

D.7. Goals and Objectives

The purpose of the program is to educate experts in the preparation and development of measurement instruments used in education, in interpretation of the scores that are obtained from those instruments, evaluation of curriculums and teaching activities through the interpretation of the results.

D.12. Occupational Profiles of Graduates with Examples

Back

Individuals who graduates from Measurement and Education in Education program can work in the measurement and evaluation units at schools, relevant offices in Ministry of National Education, and measurement and evaluation units at universities. They can conduct statistical analyses, interpret the analyses results, develop and administer measurement instruments and interpret measurement results, conduct scientific research, review text books in the related units or departments.

The programme consists of 11 courses: 7 required and 4 elective courses. 66% of the courses are required, 34% of the courses are elective. At least 120 ECTS must be completed (minimum 8 courses with 24 local credits, 1 seminar and 1 thesis).
