D.7. Goals and Objectives

Back

Educate individuals received modern education in the field of analytical chemistry, reached the universal level in research, and the ability to communicate in the field of spectroscopy, chromatography and electroanalytical chemistry with knowledge on national and international level.

Graduates will knowprinciples of working according to the rules of good laboratory practice and basic principles of various spectroscopic (UV, IR, NMR, atomic), chromatographic (HPLC, GC), capillary electrophoresis and electrochemical (polarography, cyclic voltammetry, etc.) methods, develop and validate these methods, and may apply different samples (pharmaceutical preparation, biological material, environment, food, etc. samples). They knownecessaries techniques for sample preparation (precipitation, liquid-liquid consumption, solid - liquid consumption).

Using the findings of its experimental and theoretical knowledge and scientific resources, graduate student prepares, presents and defends his/her master thesis.

D.12. Occupational Profiles of Graduates with Examples

Back

The graduates who know Analytical Chemistry program, theoretical and practical aspects of classical and modern method analysis and using these methods, are working in several ministries such as the Ministry of Health and the relevant units of various government institution that require knowledge of analytical chemistry. They are working in the pharmaceutical industry, all kinds of quality control, biochemistry and food laboratories, hospitals, pharmacies. Also, they are working as academic staff in several universities.
