Economics Department provides a high quality, Turkish language based master program to meet the needs of professionals for a theoretical background as well as analytical methods in the solution of economic problems. The participating academic staff and course contents are chosen specifically to provide the necessary tools and expertise to the students, preparing them with strong background for the highly competitive national and international business environments. Students are expected to complete the program in three semesters.

1. Those having a university diploma in any field can apply for the program.
2. There is no minimum grade-point average (GPA) requirement.
3. There is no requirement for an ALES or Foreign Language Exam certificate. However, if the applicant submits a certificate, the following weighting schema will be used in evaluation (for those not submitting a certificate for ALES or Foreign Language, the score is considered to be zero).

4. International students' applications are accepted in line within “Hacettepe University Graduate Programme and Exam Regulation" in Official Gazette (29 November 2016, No:29900).

The main objective of the Financial Economics master program is to raise experts in economics. Our graduates who have the skills to follow global developments and offer global or regional solutions to problems they encounter will be candidates for top level management positions.
Graduates of the Financial Economics Program are fully trained to be able to take up suitable positions at upper-level of proficiencies in either public or private sectors.

Financial Economics Program(Non-Thesis) is organized as 6 compulsory courses, 5 selective courses and a compulsory Project Assignment.
