Course objectiveAt the end of this course the student will be able to explain, evaluate and apply the knowledge about all decisions related to the production, storage and distribution of goods and services; where to locate manufacturing facilities; how plants are designed; what portion of the manufacturing process is to be automated, etc; related problem solution techniques and approaches. 
Learning outcomes
  1. Average student; to describe storage and distribution of goods and services, also ınformation technology and value chains.
  2. To explain process technology and automation.
  3. To understand the capacity planning, facility layout, work-force management, job design and work measurement
  4. To evaluate a project which explain, and apply the production and operations strategy related with the above subjects.
