Course objectiveTo gain knowledge about theoretical background in teaching Turkish as a foreign language and to give information about the examples with the approach of inclusive Turkish teaching. 
Learning outcomes
  1. Knows the basic concepts of language teaching.
  2. Recognize language teaching theories and approaches.
  3. Distinguish the differences between mother tongue and foreign language teaching methods and techniques.
  4. comprehend AODC text and its dimensions.
  5. Understands the effect of domestic and foreign environment in teaching Turkish.
  6. Understands the difference between the applications of child and adult education in Turkish teaching.
  7. Comprehend the comprehensive Turkish teaching practices with the understanding of inclusive education.
Course ContentThe aim of this course is to raise awareness about Language, foreign language and Turkish as a foreign language teaching concepts, theories, methods and techniques. The focus is on how to teach Turkish as a foreign language. The course content is activity-based and individual and group working will be carried out to ensure the active participation of students in the learning process.
