Course objective | The aim of the course is to analyze the concepts language and culture and their interrelationship in several linguistic and cultural contexts. To go through the relevant theories and research in the literature with an emphasis on the linguistic investigation of the ways of communication among individauls from different cultural, ethnic, and linguistic backgrounds. Moreover, this course aims at an understanding of Deafness as a cultural and linguistic variable. | |||||
