Course objectiveAim of this course is to understand how gender is constructed by society and comprehended by people. 
Learning outcomes
  1. Realize building up roles of gender,
  2. Realize how evolution of gender done,
  3. Argue on roles of male and female in various societies,
  4. Determine relation between culture and gender,
  5. Discuss women?s roles and status in Turkey.
Course ContentRoles of gender, gender is biological or cultural, vary and diversity of gender in traditional and modern societies, childhood and gender, the problem of to be male/female in Turkey and the another country.
