Course objectiveThe main objective of this course is to analyze the fiscal policy management under different political and economic conditions by using standard tools of theoretical and empirical economic analyses. For this purpose, linear and non-linear effects, sustainability and optimal design of fiscal policy are going to be evaluated using different macroeconomic models. 
Learning outcomes
  1. At the end of this course, students will be able to analyze the fiscal policy management of governments that face various political and economic constraints over different phases of business cycle fluctuations. Evaluating, - the effects of fiscal policy on output and price level, - the optimum duration of fiscal policy practice, - the alternative policy options before and after financial crisis periods could be considered as the possible learning outcomes of this course.
