Course objectiveThe aim of this course is to enable students analytically and critically approach to the contemporary translation theories. 
Learning outcomes

  4. - Write academic response papers
Course Content- Translation as a cognitive activity
- Translation as intercultural communication
- Translation ethics, politics
- Translation sociology
- Technology and translation
- Issues in interpreting studies
- Issues in audiovisual translation
The students will produce response papers regarding the above mention topics.
