Course objective | The aim of the course is to provide understanding about the functions, duties and responsibilities of the Central Banks, the problems faced in coordinating and or orienting with other macroeconomic policies. The issues will be discussed from a historical and practical implementation perspective in the context of the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey. | |||||

Course Content | In this course the general principles of central banking (therefore the monetary policy) the issue of coordination of monetary policy among fiscal, financial stability and investment policies and the role of monetary policy in price setting behaviours will be discussed. | |||||
