Course objectiveThe aim of this course is to reveal the importance of administrative role physical therapists working in the hospital, clinics, private sector, institutions and organizations and, to create awereness on this subject; to increase the level of information about this topic by examining the contents of different models of management and organization; to develop organizational skills on management of OPR and orthopaedic-related institutions, organizations and non- governmental organizations. 
Learning outcomes
  1. The student who completes this course will understand the importance of the role of physical therapists working in OPR in management and organization.
  2. He/ she will know basic concepts and components of the management and organization and different models of management and organizations. He/she can make comment on the roles of OPR physical therapist in management of various organizations for the orthopaedic handicapped people and non-governmental organizations and in public health protection
Course ContentThis cours content, the importance of OPR physical therapists in management and organizations; definitions of basic management and organizations; the components of this definition and their contents; various models of managements and organizations will be studied. The knowlodge and the skills of OPR physical therapists and their education for this topic; the role of OPR physical therapists in creating health policies, and in protection of public health as well as in management of organizations, institutions and non-governmental organizations will be discussed. Lastly, the current state in Turkey and in developed countries will be reviewed and future expectations and directions will be determined.
