Course objective | The aim of this course is to describe the concepts and theories and structural and generative approaches in semantics. Semantic restriction and semantic extension of the concepts in Turkish language will be evaluated in its cultural context. Additionally, it is aimed that semantics and discourse analysis will be examined together on the basis of implications from lexical and sentential semantics in teaching Turkish as a foreign language. | |||||
