Course objectiveThis course aims at enabling students to become professionally and clinically competent in topics specific to Fundamentals and Management of Nursing, and on theory, concepts, principles and methods that provide basis for these topics, to develop a critical and analytic perspective towards issues of nursing practice and leadership, and to acquire the ability of attaining new synthesis by conducting independently scientific and ethical research. 
Learning outcomes
  1. Based on the competencies of masters level, students are expected to; Explicate the theory, concepts, principles and methods specific to Fundamentals and Management of Nursing from a contemporary, critical and analytic perspective,
  2. Maintain a systematic approach towards nursing care and management,
  3. Provide nursing care for individuals from different cultural and social backgrounds at clinical practice,
  4. Interacts culturally with members of health care and students at clinical settings.
  5. Contribute to resolving social, cultural, and ethical problems encountered in the field of nursing practice by analysing and synthesizing scientific knowledge
  6. Prepare a research proposal on nursing care and management by using scientific and ethical methods
Course ContentThe student makes observation of nursing practice and management at clinical settings or other health care settings by using the methods of teaching and managing nursing, provides nursing care, and prepares a project report based on the observations, nursing practice and management.
