Course objectiveTo provide information about the characteristics and teaching of the texts used in teaching Turkish as a foreign language. 
Learning outcomes
  1. At the end of this course, students will be able to; Have information about the concept of text in teaching Turkish as a foreign language,
  2. Conduct research on texts and text types,
  3. Review the related literature and think about the related studies in a critical way,
  4. Classify the contexts according to their portfolio levels,
  5. Produce a context in terms of understanding and writing skills.
Course ContentCharacteristics of texts and teaching them, text types, teaching of stories, teaching of descriptive texts, teaching of informative texts, teaching of texts involving dialogues, teaching of texts based on problem-solving, teaching of comparative texts, teaching of texts involving cause-effect relations.
