Course objectiveTo introduce the structural features of Turkish in the context of teaching Turkish as a foreign language, to comprehend the syntactic typology of Turkish, to examine the relationship between the language typology of common learner mistakes in Turkish learning processes, to discuss the grammar teaching of Turkish as a foreign language. 
Learning outcomes
  1. At the end of this course students will be able to; Recognizes the basic element sequence and syntactic features of Turkish and comprehends its differences with other languages.
  2. Knows the effects of Turkish syntactic features on teaching processes of Turkish as a foreign language.
  3. Comprehends the relationship between the language typology of the students' syntactic errors and develops solutions.
