Course objectiveThe aim of this course is; to ensure that children's books used in the education of disabled children are presented and discussed with examples in terms of content, illustrations and physical features, and to carry out the necessary studies to develop research on books used in the education of disabled children. Students are expected to gain theoretical and practical knowledge about book features and reading methods used in the education of disabled children. 
Learning outcomes
  1. 1. Knows the evaluation criteria for books prepared for children with special needs. 2. Knows the literature on books prepared for children with special needs. 3. Evaluates books prepared for children with special needs. 4. Develops or adapts assessment tools related to books prepared for children with special needs.
