Course objectiveTo teach Ottoman chronicles and their historical value. 
Learning outcomes
  1. By the end of this course the student, knows the 17th-19th century Ottoman chronicles,
  2. evaluates the Ottoman chronicles from the 17th to the end of the 19th century,
  3. examines the styles and approaches of the selected chroniclers,
  4. analyzes the information contained in the chronicles examined,
  5. uses the chronicles for producing historical knowledge.
