Course objectiveThe aim of this course is to learn; Concept of occupational epidemiology Features of various research methods and principles of implementation in occupational health and a research/proposal preparation -Discussion and evaluation of selected articles on occupational health 
Learning outcomes
  1. At the end of the course, the students will be able to; Define Occupational epidemiology and describe basic principles and strategies of research
  2. Learn features and main principles of research methods in occupational health
  3. Be able to prepare a research proposal/carry out a research in the field of occupational health.
  4. Discuss and evaluate the articles on occupational health
Course ContentPrinciples of occupational health and research;
Sources of data on occupational health
Application of epidemiology in occupational health: Basic-primary-secondary research in occupational health, descriptive, cross sectional, repeated cross-sectional, comparative studies, cohort, case-control, process evaluation and intervention studies, validity and accuracy, diagnostic studies and survey research and standardisation usage in the field of occupational health.
Epidemiology in OH services: Accident epidemiology, Risk epidemiology;
Writing research proposal and report;
