Course objectiveThe basic aim of this course is to analyze language change, solve and discuss problems of language change within framework of related theory and methods. 
Learning outcomes
  1. At the end of the semester the students will:
  2. Recognize the fact that language change is a natural process,
  3. Classify languages according to their genetic and structural propeties,
  4. Study theories and methods aiming to explain language change,
  5. Solve and discuss problems of language change.
