Course objectiveTo comprehend the technical characteristics and notations of the percussion instruments and bow instruments used in the orchestras, transposition studies and to enable the acquisition of theoretical and practical knowledge about these instruments.

  2. 2. They comprehend the technical characteristics of the bow instruments used in the orchestras.

  5. 5. They comprehend the special techniques used in the bow instruments and percussion instruments.
  6. 6. They can adapt a music piece to the various instruments in various combinations (compounds).
Course ContentTechnical characteristics of the bow instruments and percussion instruments used in the orchestras, resonances acquired from the unification of the instruments, transposition studies, historical developments of the instruments, examinations with cassette, cd, dvd and real examples.
