Course objectiveIdentify physiotherapy approaches to hip, knee, ankle and fingers injuries which are often encountered in athletes,ensure that clinical decision-making in accordance with results of skills and methods of evaluation,improve to planning treatment and develop application knowlodge and skills 
Learning outcomes

  2. To know to physiotherapy approach depending on injured anatomical structure and region
  3. To comprehend clinical decision-making
  4. To select and applies the methods of treatment for the hip complex
  5. To define and implement physiotherapy approaches for knee, and surroundings structures
  6. To define and implement physiotherapy approaches for ankle and foot injuries
  7. To realize the importance of test bateries which specially developed to measure the adeuqacy and effective of lower extremity
Course ContentComprehend the importance of lower extremity movement patterns to sport-spesific.
Preventive physiotherapy approaches for the prevention of injuries.
The mechanisms of the most common sport specific lower extremity injuries
Recovery periods and responses to treatment of lower extremity soft tissue injuries.
