Course objectiveRemarking the administrative and supervisory structure of Turkish Education System in particular analyze school administration and supervision and make proposals for current problems. 
Learning outcomes
  1. At the end of this course students will be able to know the the administrative and supervisory structure of Turkish Education System,
  2. analyze school as a social system,
  3. analyze sub-systems of school system, explain importance and functions of these sub-systems,
  4. explain practices of school administration and supervision.
Course ContentThe administrative and supervisory structure of Turkish Education System, School as a social system, Personnel services: appointment and transfer, nomination process, personnel rights, personnel file and discipline process, Services for students: enrollments, following attendance, health and security measures, exams etc., Education programs, Education services: annual plannings, teachers commission meetings, providing course materials, Services for education: Counseling, student discipline services, parent-teacher association, School purchasing: keeping buildings, editorial and belonging duties and school budget, Administration and Supervision in schools.
