Course objectiveThe aim of this course is to provide knowledge in the area of special education, skills of writing a scientific research and to develop ability of evaluating and interpreting the information to the students. 
Learning outcomes
  1. Determines the subject line by using practical and theoretical knowledge gained during the undergraduate study.
  2. Selects the variables by using the research techniques.
  3. Understands the cause-effect relationships between the variables. Generate hypotheses about the trial.
  4. Selects appropriate research methods and measurement tools.
  5. Writes down the research findings and interpretations it.
  6. Develop research proposals.
  7. Generate hypotheses about the trial.
  8. Lists the resources used in the study in accordance with international standards. Effectively scans and interpretations resources in libraries and electronic data bases.
Course ContentStudies on research planning, collecting data and writing report as a thesis with a supervisor.
Scanning and importance of the concerned sources during the research
Definition, classification, characteristics and functions of the science and research
Stages of scientific method and scientific data resources
Research types, research processes and techniques
Data types, data sources, their characteristics and data collection methods
Writing of finding, discussion and research recommendations
Reference indicating methods
Classification and cataloguing systems in the libraries, methods of efficient getting benefit from the libraries
