Course objectiveteaching the methods used in teaching Turkish as a second language discussing the positive and negative sides of these methods and identifying the problems encountered, getting students to understand the importance of using a methods in teaching Turkish as a second language getting students to understand the importance of cultural and linguistic background of the target group in teaching Turkish as a foreign language and teaching how to develop a method accordingly. 
Learning outcomes
  1. At the end of this course, the students understand which of the methods will be more functional in teaching Turkish as a second language,
  2. take into account the cultural and linguistic background of the target group in teaching Turkish as second language,
  3. know how to use linguistic methods and literary elements in teaching Turkish.
