Course objectiveTo show the expression types of intellectual, religious, behavioral, and ethical values of Turkish culture, To teach the basic concepts of faith indicators and rituals which are one of the sources in history of cultural studies, To gain an analytical perspective with assessment methods related to the topic. 
Learning outcomes
  1. At the end of this course, students Have information about basic concepts and approaches related to immaterial field and immaterial sources,
  2. Explain the characteristics features of Turkish culture area, similarities and differences with reasons,
  3. Have information about faith practice of Turkish societies,
  4. Explain the transitivity between concrete-abstract in thought-behavior and faith-culture ,
  5. Comment on rites and rituals related to religion and faith.
Course ContentThe definition of basic concepts and approaches related to immaterial field and immaterial sources;
The rites and rituals in Turkish culture areas, moral sentiment, allowable value and judgments
The place of rule-manner-law system in the concept of power-nation,
The specification of the values that help persist social institutions and its analytical analysis,
The operation types of perception-cognition-thought in cultural change and interpretation system,
The perceptions towards life, the investigation of information, attitude and behavior related to immaterial field such as the need for communication.
