Course Content | Female/male images in media representations are discussed and through these images paradigms related to hegemony recreated by the patriarchal culture is studied within the context of cultural studies focused on media and within the framework of gender discrimination and feminist concepts and theories, through reading popular narratives such as women?s magazines, soap operas, internet texts, photographs, commercials and novels. | |||||
