Course objective | Objective of the course is to understand water as domestic and foreign policy instrument, the main problems of hydropolitics as a multidisciplinal research field and the ways to solve the hydropolitical problems. It is aimed to evaluate some important water conflicts of the world and to show ways to solve them in a peaceful manner. | |||||

Course Content | This course includes the main water conflicts of the world, the relation between hydropolitics and sustainable economic development, the hydropolitical dimension of the conflicts in the Middle East and North Africa, the contribution of the resolution of hydropolitical problems to the foreign policy and the peace. | |||||
