Course objective | 1.ComprehendsTheorical framework of Turkish foreign policy and its basic principle, its application in the Atatürk Period; 2- Understands the time course of the WWII, and the Turkish foreign policy-making in relation to the emerging balance of powers; the international treaties and agreements to the Turkish foreign policy 3- Comprehends Turkey?s foreign policy-making aftermath of the WWII and during the Cold War; Turkey?s relations with regional and global actors of politics. 4- Understands Turkey?s foreign policy-making and the factors-in-concern aftermath of the Cold War. | |||||

Course Content | Within the context of the course, Turkey?s foreign policy after the Atatürk?s period is analyzed within the global developments from the WWII untill today. Basic foreign policy principles are detected and the institutional organization of the Foreign Ministry and its application process of the policies are analyzed. | |||||
