Course objectiveIt will be investigated regarding the physiological mechanism of pain, the role of the acute and choronic pain in varies disease and the approach to cope with the pain. 
Learning outcomes
  1. It is aimed to conribute and develope the process with respect to approaches in deciding, advance theoretical and clinical knowledge on the basis of mechanism on pain and its physical therapy, relaxation and training used on pain physiotherapy, biofeedback, positioning, ergonomic training, TENS, hot and cold applications, manuel treatments, and exercises.
Course ContentAcut and chronical pain are the most common problems that physiotherapists confront with. It is an important symptom that pain appears following the acute injures and cronical diseases and it restricts the movement and function. The most of the physiotherapy and rehabilitation approaches are towards to pain inhibition and that is the point to be aimed to re-gain the movement and function sooner. Most common used methods applied with this aim is to develope the skill in comprehending the clinical decision with physiological mechanism and to learn the role of pain inhibition theoratically.
