Course objectiveThe purpose of this course is to introduce students to laboratory principles in the Department of Medical Biology laboratories and to teach principles of good laboratory practice (GLP). 
Learning outcomes
  1. Students will; Practice safely and carefully in the laboratory.
  2. Learn to be aware of possible dangers and accidents that can occur during experiments.
  3. Follow biosafety rules.
  4. Remember the properties of hazardous materials in the laboratory and protect himself/herself.
Course ContentIn this course, general safety rules will be explained; molecular biology, cell culture and bacterial laboratory rules will be discussed in detail.
