Course objectiveThe aim of the course is the implementation of measurement and evaluation criteria used in psychology and writing test and scale items, conducting an item analysis and choosing the appropriate items for the scales and doing reliability, validity analysis of the test or the scale and explanation of the basic concepts and principles of testing and scale development. 
Learning outcomes
  1. explain the basic concepts and principles of test and scale development
  2. apply the psychological testing and assessment criteria
  3. perform preliminary preparation in order to measure a particular concept
  4. write test and scale items
  5. conduct an item analysis and choose the appropriate items for the scales
  6. do the reliability and validity analysis of the test or the scale
  7. prepare the test manual
  8. explain and apply the test standardization and norm determination
Course ContentThis course includes the explanation and application of the fundamental concepts of test and scale development.
