Course objectiveTo make the students know the meaning of quality in healthcare, how to measure and improve quality. 
Learning outcomes
  1. At the end of this course, the student will be able to; define quality in health care, compare different quality management approaches that can be used in hospitals, explain quality measurement approaches, understand quality improvement models, strategic quality management and clinical guidelines, apply quality improvements tools, understand basic concepts related to patient safety and external evaluation, and analyse a quality problem of a hospital and develop a solution to it.
