Course objectiveThe aim of the course is to gain the student advance knowledge about major psychology schools and their immense effects among themselves and on the modern psychology today. 
Learning outcomes
  1. Discuss the processes and developments at the foundation of modern scientific psychology
  2. Discuss body-mind problem and importance for psychology.
  3. Discuss the effect of structuralism on the modern psychology today.
  4. Discuss the effect of functionalism on the modern psychology today.
  5. Discuss the effect of behaviorism on the modern psychology today.
  6. Discuss the effect of gestalt psychology on the modern psychology today.
  7. Discuss the effect of psychoanalytic school on the modern psychology today.
  8. Discuss some classic psychology experiments and their consequences.
Course ContentThe course covers the topics about foundation of modern psychology, structuralism, functionalism, behaviorism, gestalt psychology, psychoanalytic theory and some classic experiments, and their effects on the psychology today.
