Course objectiveIn this course, basic concepts and approaches on traditional Turkish theater and the traditions named as Karagöz, Meddahs, Ortaoyunu, Turkish puppet, Tuluat and village theater will be studied and discussed. 
Learning outcomes
  1. At the end of the semester, the students will be able to explain and argue basic concepts and approaches on traditional Turkish theater and the traditions named as Karagöz, Meddahs, Ortaoyunu, Turkish puppet and village theater.
