Course objectiveThe aim of this course is to explain the life long learning, its applications in Turkey and in the World; the adult education, the organizational structure and its operation. 
Learning outcomes
  1. Grasp the importance of lifelong learning and comprehend the meaning, context, components and general principles of lifelong learning
  2. Interpret the applications within lifelong learning in Turkey and other countries
  3. Develop recommendations for improvement and expansion of lifelong learning
  4. Reach relevant literature of adult education
  5. Explain basic principles and characteristics of adult education and organizational structure of adult education and its process in Turkey
Course ContentMeaning, context, components and general principles of lifelong learning; lifelong learning skills; the development of lifelong learning in Turkey and other countries; the applications within lifelong learning in Turkey and other countries; lifelong learning and technology; theoretical foundations of adult education (characteristics, principles); the organizational structure of adult education and its operation in Ministry of National Education.
