Course objective | The main aim of the course is to provide the students with a general overview of the basic themes and issues of the European military history from an interdisciplinary perspective enabling them to understand the political, social, economic and intellectual façades of the subject. | |||||

Course Content | This course will discuss the technical and tactical transformation in the European armies from the Hundered Year Wars (1453) to the end of the Revolutionary Wars (1815). The transition in the European military organizations and warfare are the main subjects of the course. The impact of the military transformation on the state organization and people will be analysesd with the political, economic and intellectual changes of the period. | |||||
