Course objectiveThe objective of the course is to investigate the limits of printmaking and produce projects with students who have theoretical and practical knowledge and experience on printing techniques, to search for possibilities of interpreting these projects together with different techniques ranging from installations to video performances and creating a memory in printmaking by writing papers on how an artist transforms an object and a technique according to the needs of an intellectual subject, and how he justifies this transformation. Introducing the experimental interpretations of printmaking to the Turkish art scene. 
Learning outcomes
  1. On competing this course the student will; Find the opportunity to produce works, studying contemporary interpretations of printmaking and forcing the limits of printmaking;
  2. ; be able to express personal ideas and interact in an enviroment based on the principle of mutual learning;
  3. be able to focus thoughts on the meaning of reproducing an image and find a platform to have intellectual discussions through various texts on printmaking;
  4. ; be able to present his projects; be able to work on experimental printing techniques, find the opportunity to exhibit his works in an art gallery and share them with the public.
Course ContentDetermining the approaches to print art and the methods to be used in the course with the students through discussions on contemporary interpretations of print techniques. Exhibiting the printwork created as a result of the exchange of ideas and brainstorming, also writing papers on the formal and conceptual meaning of the work and thus circulate an intellectual view of print art in another channel.
