Course objective | The objective of the course is to investigate the limits of printmaking and produce projects with students who have theoretical and practical knowledge and experience on printing techniques, to search for possibilities of interpreting these projects together with different techniques ranging from installations to video performances and creating a memory in printmaking by writing papers on how an artist transforms an object and a technique according to the needs of an intellectual subject, and how he justifies this transformation. Introducing the experimental interpretations of printmaking to the Turkish art scene. | |||||

Course Content | Determining the approaches to print art and the methods to be used in the course with the students through discussions on contemporary interpretations of print techniques. Exhibiting the printwork created as a result of the exchange of ideas and brainstorming, also writing papers on the formal and conceptual meaning of the work and thus circulate an intellectual view of print art in another channel. | |||||
