Course objectiveThis course aims to allow students acquire knowledge about key concepts for protection of foreign investments and its legal regime.  
Learning outcomes
  1. At the end of the lesson, the students will ; Acquire detailed information about legal regime of foreign investments and the legal protection provided, learn about diverging views on policies for foreign investments, become familiarized with legal protection mechanisms for foreign investments, acquire ability to analyze the concept from a political economy perspective.
Course ContentMechanisms for protection of foreign investments in both domestic and international law, historical background of foreign investments and developments, international investment law, global protection mechanisms.
