Course objectiveTo inform students of the new technologies used by the employers, to discuss with the students the implications of new technologies on workers rights, to instruct students about the limits of the power of employers to intrude into employees working day (especially the invasion of privacy of workers and bodily integrity).

  1. Students who take this course Become familiar with the new technologies used by employers, Analyse and compare the problems arising out of the use of new technologies by the employers, Learn International, European Union, national regulations and decided court decisions on the subject,
Course ContentIn this course the following topics will be discussed:
Definitions of worker, employer, workplace,
New technologies used by the employers,
The implications of new technologies on workers rights,
The obligations and liability of employers,
The obligations and liability of workers.
