Course objectiveThe objective of this course is to guide the student in the writing of a doctoral dissertation in accordance with scholarly methods in the field of American Culture and Literature. 
Learning outcomes
  1. Students will be able to conducts a survey of the literature about the thesis subject.
  2. Organize the information and/or data found in the literature.
  3. Analyse the information and/or data.
  4. Make synthesis of the information and/or data.
  5. Infer results from research findings. Puts the research into written report in the required format.
  6. Defend the research orally.
  7. Produces new knowledge in the field of American Culture and Literature.
Course Content1. Selection of the thesis subject.
2. Survey of the literature on national and international scale.
3. Planning of all stages of the research.
4. Development of the information and/or data gathering method.
5. Administration of the information and/or data gathering method and interpretation of the findings.
6. Preparation of the research results as written report.
