D.1. General Information about Program

Education will take place in the class rooms and laboratories of the Hacettepe University Institute of Health Sciences, Department of Pediatric Allergy and Allergy Research Laboratories.
Although the tuition language will be Turkish, foreign students will be accepted to the program. In the Pediatric Allergy – Molecular and Immunological Basis of Allergic Diseases master degree program; candidates will be equipped with a theoretic and technical training in genetics, immunology and epidemiology of allergic diseases; the students will be educated to international standards in the field of molecular allegology, it is intended that students will reach a basic level of knowledge on the field of molecular allegology, as well as gain information on their research-development and application. Graduates will be educated to develop original scientific hypothesis in these fields, which they can dispute, and it is aimed to raise scientists, able to present and discuss the results they obtained, using scientific methods in the field of molecular allegology, who can participate in cooperation in the basic fields of allergy research.

D.4. Provisions for Registration
Back- Graduates of Faculty of Science Departments of Biology, Molecular Biology and Genetics, Graduates of Faculties of Medicine can apply
- Program applicants should have a score ? 60 from tests of ALES or a score of equal point of? 60 of ALES from the test of the GRE, or GMAT and a score ? 60 from either the YDS exams or an equivalent exam confirmed by the Inter-university Council
- and fullfill the criteria according to the terms for application to the Hacettepe University Institute of Health Sciences Master Degree during application to the Master Degree program.

D.6. Specific Arrangements for Recognition of Prior Learning
BackStudents who wish to enter through horizontal transition can be accepted according to the statutes concerning the acceptance of students through horizontal transition by the Hacettepe University Master Degree Education-Tuition and Examination Regulations and by decision of the academic board.

D.7. Goals and Objectives
BackThe Molecular and Immunological Basis of Allergic Diseases Master Degree Program aims to educate students to international standards in the field of molecular allergology and immunology of allergic diseases, to provide students with knowledge on research-development and applications, as well as reach a basic level of knowledge in the field of molecular allergology and immunology to pursue a academic carrier (PhD) in universities. It is aimed that the graduates can design a scientific hypothesis in their fields, can question, can use scientific methods in the field of molecular and cell biology and immunology and present the obtained data to the scientific world.
D.12. Occupational Profiles of Graduates with Examples
BackGraduates from the Molecular and Immunological Basis of Allergic Diseases Masters Degree Program can continue their carreer (PhD) as academics at universities. In addition, they can work in governemental, foundations and special institutions as specialist, researcher, supervisor or director.

D.15. Examination Regulations, Assessment and Grading
BackMeasuring and evaluation methods for every course that are part of the Molecular and Immunological Basis of Allergic Diseases Master Degree Program are indicated in the course information packages. For evaluation and scoring of examinations, the statutes according to the Hacettepe University Masters Degree Education – Tuition and Examination Regulations will be applied.
D.16. Graduation Requirements
BackStudents should achieve must/elective courses in the first year , complete and defence a thesis Project succesfully in the second year. Students need to complete 24 credit (120 ECTS credits) for graduation.
