Course objectiveTo teach the concepts of processing and forming of plastics and elastomers by various techniques.  
Learning outcomes
  1. Student will learn the following subjects; 1. processing and forming of plastics by various techniques such as injection molding, extrusion, blow molding rotational molding 2. Processing and forming of rubber by various techniques such as milling, calendering, extrusion and molding.
Course ContentInjection molding, Compression and transfer molding, Sheet extrusion, Blow molding, Foam processing, Reinforced plastics processing, Liquid resin processing, Rotational molding, Thermoforming, Reaction injection molding, Compounding, mixing, and blending, Rubber processing; mixing, milling, Rubber processing calendering, extrusion and molding.
