1. Deepens knowledge on the form and development of unique literary, artistic, historical, philosophical, religious, social, and political traditions in America. Develops new concepts related to language, literature, art, and culture theories.

2. Analyzes, synthesizes, and examines scientific thoughts in language, literature, art, and culture.

3. Understands the theoretical interaction between language, literature, art, and culture, evaluates complex ideas and developments, and reaches original results.
