1. Gains theoretical knowledge on survey methodology.

2. Gains knowledge on basic concepts related to quantitative research methods, acquire a theoretical point of view, and develop the skills to transform this knowledge into survey design, implementation and analysis.

3. Gains knowledge on sampling techniques used in quantitative methods, and develop generalizable, survey design ability.

4. Gains knowledge on learning and implementing the models and techniques used in quantitative data analysis.

5. Gains basic theoretical knowledge on qualitative research methods, theoretical point of view, and develop the skills to transform this knowledge into research design, sampling, generation of qualitative data and analysis.
