In our country and in many parts of the world, classical neonatology training is carried out within the framework of the subspecialty training. Advances at the care, monitoring and treatment of newborn infants in recent year have made cooperation and coordination between disciplines compulsory. We believe that the ?Advanced Neonatology Master Degree Program With Thesis? of Department of Neonatology which will be initiated to eliminate the deficiencies in education will be the first in our country and will be an example for other centers.
We are of opinion that the studies we have conducted in four main areas are important in the launch of such a program in our department.
