Division of Sculpture at the Institute of Fine Arts offers 2 years mainstream-formal education.
Its education language is Turkish. In order to enter the Division of Sculpture's Master of Art program every candidate takes art exam and interview.
Program aims to develop technical knowledge, skill and formation of art through theoretical and applied courses. Main target of Division of Sculpture is to educate qualified artists.

To get a graduate degree in Sculpture, it is required to complete 120 ECTS credits (at least 24 national credits) and to fulfill necessary conditions defined by Graduate School of Fine Arts.
Students who are accepted to register in Sculpture Department are the students who complete 4 years undergraduate education or get an equivalent education abroad. Equivalence recognitions are made according to regulations.

The Division of Sculpture graduate program is a program which raises artist candidates who are sensible to humanity, society and moral values; respectful to themselves and around; qualified in their profession; in pursuit of life-long learning; supportive of scientific and artistic way of thinking; who have sufficient equipment about art in particular about the art of sculpture; open to different thoughts and cultures, able to think creatively and critically.
Graduates of Sculpture Division can work as a sculptor who makes architectural and monumental works, environment designer, art educator in different institutions, art consultant, locket and jeweler designer, set-designer for TV or theatres besides working as independent sculpture artist.

Division of Sculpture Master of Art graduate program consists of 4 terms. Program consists of 14 courses equivalent to 120 ECTS each term 30 ECTS. Between these courses there are field courses, professional knowledge courses and general culture courses. Each academic term elective courses are provided comprising %25 of the curriculum.
Testing and evaluation methods implemented in the courses are defined in the “course instructional plan” which takes place in the information package. The relevant articles in the Regulation of Hacettepe University Institute of Fine Arts Graduate Education are used for the exams and final grades.
To be graduated from Sculpture Division students are required to take provided courses in return for 120 ECTS credits (24 national credits) and succeed in them; to fulfill necessary conditions defined in Regulations of Institute of Fine Art .
